Helping Dogs Network

NGO “Helping Dogs Network” is a community of professionals and like-minded individuals working in the field of human-animal interaction. We carry out educational and outreach activities, provide animal-assisted services, develop training programs, methodologies, and techniques, and conduct scientific research in these areas in Ukraine.

We actively collaborate with specialists from various fields — cynologists, biologists, educators, psychologists, rehabilitation experts, medical professionals — as well as with government bodies, educational institutions, and international organizations.

In our work, we adhere to principles of respect, responsibility, and mutual consideration in human-animal interactions, integrating these values into practical work, training programs, and workshops.

Our Main Areas of Activity

Development, research, promotion and practicing of methods, techniques, and approaches in human-animal interaction.
Implementation of projects in animal-assisted interventions/ services (AAI/AAS) and the introduction of training programs and workshops, including in the field of assistance dog training.
Initiation and implementation of programs for the training and support of assistance dogs and guide dogs, as well as development and improvement of methodologies in this area.
Development of strategies and technologies to enhance the welfare and well-being of both people and animals.
Organization of educational and scientific events, including seminars, workshops, conferences, and outreach initiatives.
Preparation and development of programs involving dogs in educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitation activities.
Creation and dissemination of scientific and educational literature, as well as methodological materials.
Conducting scientific research and analytical activities.
Volunteer and charitable initiatives to support both people and dogs.
Collaboration with national and international organizations, and participation in the development of regulatory documents and standards in the field of human-animal interaction.

Our Vision

We strive to restore harmony in the relationship between humans and dogs by creating conditions for mutual self-actualization and development, where the needs of both parties are acknowledged and respected. Interactions should benefit both people and animals, supporting their growth, well-being, and self-realization.

Helping Dogs Network unites those ready to act, create new opportunities, and foster a culture of mutual respect between humans and dogs, advance cynology, and implement innovative training and support programs.
